“Hong Kong Personal Chef, Tom Burney, has created some awesome dinner experiences for me, my family and my friends and we have used him for functions at our own co-working and event space, Banyan Workspace. He’s always delivered delicious, beautifully presented food with a lovely surprise thrown in. His vegan chocolate-cheese cake was one that none of us had a clue was vegan till he told us after we had all cleaned our plates. Alway delivers above expectations and I highly recommend him!“

Chef Tom catered my 40th birthday party on my rooftop and did an AMAZING job. He was super involved with planning and then on the day of, he just showed up and executed everything brilliantly. I loved that he was so flexible on the menu and was able to customize the dishes to fit my budget and concept. Execution and planning were both seamless, he and his server took care of everything from serving to cleanup so I could focus on the party! Much appreciated!

The quality of the food and service provided by Tom for our BBQ was exceptional. Every dish was very tastey and the overall quantity of food was bang on - stuffed guests with minimal wastage. Tom is also a lovely guy and great to deal with; we will certainly be booking again.

This is my first time have a dinner from Chef Tom, and he is brilliant, all food he’s serve is amazing. The salad, Mediterranean octopus and lamb was so delicious, especially the tomato salad, it was fresh and light. I really Chief Tom and enjoy his food.Thanks Chef Tom for all the effort and the first class service. I looking forward to the next one.

This was the second time we had the dinner event from Chef Tom,it’s same as before also incredible. The food was delicious, and he provided the perfect amount. We really enjoyed. In this time we ordered the most famous dish from Chef Tom.🥗Burrata & tomato SaladAll the tomato come from Chef Tom garden, planted by himself, it fresh, we can taste the original flavour , all ingredients are perfectly matched.🐙Mediterranran Octopus with Miso EggplantThis is the first time I try the octopus with Miso, it’s unexpectedly delicious, the octopus was perfect and juicy, and the eggplant also delicious.🐑🥩Lamb LoinThe lamb loin tender and juicy, with the charred onion and some veggies, and Chef Tom provided the perfect amount, so I can finish the whole dish.🍰Lemon tart with raspberryThe lemon tart not too sweet, with a little sour, it’s a perfect balance, the best dessert of the end.Thank you Chef Tom, we can't wait to have again for the next dinner party, and look forward the new dish in next time.😋 We highly recommended.

Tom & team provided a fantastic evening barbq, catering for both kids and adults alike, keeping everyone happy with a great selection of food which didn’t comprise on any quality. The portions were generous and salads tasty whilst the food done on the grill was to perfection- highlights being the rare tuna and delicately done salmon. I can heartedly recommend Tom, not just for the food but the very friendly and open personality. I will definitely be hiring again!

We had the most beautifully catered dinner party experience with chef Tom. Not only was the food and service superb but he also generously gave up his time to allow my 6-yr old to watch and help him in the kitchen. The menu was catered to everyone’s tastes and everything from the canapés to the pudding was high end restaurant quality. Would highly recommend to others! Thanks Tom- you have inspired us as to what can be created in our little kitchen and also we now have an obsessed little master chef jnr in the family! Our only problem now is inviting our friends back for dinner- a roast chicken may never cut the mustard again!!

Chef Tom was super responsive and gave great suggestions about the food and cutlery. Chef James and Fiona were amazing! All our guests kept singing praises of the quality of the food, grilled to perfection. The juicy burgers, disappearing chicken thighs and lamb chops (disappearing cos they are gone immediately)! The salads were so refreshing in the almost summer heat.Fiona was very observant and discrete in her ways. she always shows up at the moment you needed her and there was never an empty glass during the party.Definitely book Hong Kong Personal Chef again for our next party!

We hired chef Tom last Saturday for a friend’s surprise birthday dinner, and it was a triumph! We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the food, execution and presentation, all flawless. Chef Tom is a delight to be around too, introduced each course beautifully to us. We had a “spectacular” night in our guests own words, and can highly recommend Chef Tom without hesitation.The scallops were done to perfection, the venison tenderloin very tender and flavourful. The parsnip soup - I wasn’t sure initially, but it was so delicious and creative, I’m now a big fan. The pavlova is fresh and light. All in all, I haven’t had such nice fine dining experience for a while now since the fourth wave. It’s on par with any of the Michelin stared restaurants in my experience. What is more, the private chef concept - cooking at your home and for you only, made it even more special.Thanks Chef Tom, we can’t wait to have you again for our next dinner party.

We had such a great evening to celebrate my birthday, Chef Tom and his staff really looked after us and we all felt totally spoilt. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, and he provided the perfect amount. His attention to detail and flavour was exceptional. We suggested ingredients to Tom and he went away and created something truly special, we were very impressed. He elevated our event to a professional standard. The team were clean, tidy and respectful. We had the perfect evening. Thank you so much for a night to remember.

We had more than a few experiences of Tom helping us with our parties in the past 5yrs. So far it has always been great, consistent and just easy. He is very responsive and creates a curated menu should you wish to tailor with your needs. He is so easy to work with. The price point is also very reasonable for a party that you don't have to stress over food. I also enjoyed that he brought in a server with him (at cost, inexpensive), to make sure no food is wasted because the server will be going around to offer the food to guests, plus the drink. They make sure that everyone is happy and well fed. Our guests enjoyed it. My favourite part is that they help with setting and clearing up which is a big plus! It was great working with Tom and his team!! We will work with you again on our next event.

We used Tom and Raymond for a recent birthday party and genuinely cannot speak highly enough of their work, attitude and overall service. Great guys, great food and brilliant service. It is the first time I have used Tom but would highly recommend anyone wanting some catering (and top notch burgers) Thanks again Tom and Raymond for making it such a special occasion.

Last month we had a great meal for my family. The food is fresh and delicious. We love the food here, it's great. Chef Tom also introduced each dish to let us understand the combination of ingredients.The meal we ordered 3 dishes, the first dish was Lobster salad, it was incredible dishes and absolutely delicious.The second dish was venison tenderloin, tender and juicy, with mashed potatoes and some vegetables .The last dish was respberry cheese cake with vanilla ice cream, the cheese cake not too sweet, it suitable for us.It was amazing meal for us.We highly recommend Chef Tom.

We hired Chef Tom Burney and his assistant Tony to serve BBQ food for a company casual gathering. All dishes, from starters to main courses were abundant, impressively delicious and catering for different dietary needs of our guests. When a chef cooks with passion and love, our tongues can immediately tell the difference. That's why we say the enjoyment Tom brought us was beyond the food. The waiter Tony was such a pleasant and loving help on the spot too. We would highly recommend Invincible Kitchen in catering events.
